Recap and results from Scandinavian Team Battle 2022

The best skiers in the world came to Copenhagen to ski a sensational freestyle competition on the dry-slope and the show exceeded all expectations.

On June 25th, a perfect summer day in Copenhagen, some of the best freestyle skiers in the world were lined up at the top of CopenHill and ready to ski a very special competition. The staircase along the ski slope was filled with a crowd who had sky-high expectations after last year.

The audience got what they came for. The ten riders pushed the limits for what is possible on a dry-slope and they treated the spectators with huge flips and endless creativity. This yeat, the teams consisted of Jesper Tjäder & Emil Granbom from Sweden, Johan Berg & Siver Voll from Norway, Isabella Tvede & Jakob Ebskamp from Denmark, Anouk Andraska & Christian Moser from Switzerland, and Cal Carson & Alex Hackel from the US.

Every skier raised the level to new heights, but there was nothing for the other teams to do against the Swedes. Tjäder & Granbom were defending champions from last year, and the two crowd favourites cemented that the Scandinavian Team Battle vitory belongs to Sweden. We can't wait to see of the blue and yellow can continue their winning streak next year, or if an underdog will surprise us all.
