“It started with Steep & Deep needing new merch, combined with my own desire to create items that would not only capture the essence of CopenHill, but also be worn by the people who make CopenHill what it is.”

“I remember seeing CopenHill for the first time back in 2019, when I first came to Copenhagen. Seeing the lift tower at the top, I immediately understood that it was some kind of ski slope. Yet, it took about a year after moving here to actually visit the place.
One random May afternoon, I came here while waiting to see this girl I was seeing at the time... I went up there, had a cookie ice cream, and I remember asking if they were hiring. I started the following week, and I’ve stayed here ever since.”
Raphael is a freelance designer and engineer who also works at CopenHill as a ski instructor, tour guide and in our rooftop bar.

“My favourite thing about CopenHill is my colleagues, without a doubt. I’ve met some of my best friends through working here. Also, the fact that it is indeed an urban mountain, and there’s nothing like the feeling of being up there alone in the centre of Copenhagen. It’s surreal and doesn’t get old!”

A huge thank you to Raphael for his creativity, and to Steep & Deep and re do for helping bring our new merch to life!
